OPTIMISM is funded by a grant from the NIHR’s HTA Programme to CI Rob Ellis and team.

It aims to evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of different surveillance strategies for patients with American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) stage I melanoma after surgical excision of the primary cutaneous tumour.
